Reportedly, US’s Nucor plans to lift its wire rod products by US$40/short ton for April delivery and it will expect to start on April 1st.
Some of market participants reported that Nucor’s price increasing is not right decision especially for currently market situation.
Meanwhile, there is no other steel mills have planned to announces the price increasing for April shipments.
If the price expects to increase, the acceptable price will be US$20/shot ton in the market.
