Wuhan Iron and Steel Corp. (Wisco) realized sales revenues of RMB70 billion with profits of RMB506 million in the first four months of this year, rising by 5% and 168% year on year respectively.
In the first quarter of this year, Wisco posted net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB238 million, jumping substantially from RMB43.0585 million in the same period of 2012. Meanwhile, Wisco also announced that its sales revenues totaled RMB91.579 billion in 2012, falling by 9.38% year on year. Its net profits attributable to shareholders were at RMB210 million, slumping by 80.62% year on year.
