According to the figures released by China’s General Administration of Customs, in October this year, China’s total stainless steel pipe exports amounted to 31,615.32 tonne, decreasing by 17.76% compared to September.
In October, China’s stainless steel pipe exports to India totaled 4,358.51 tonne, while the country exported 2,608.85 tonne of stainless steel pipes to South Korea and 2,534.47 tonne to the US.
In the given month, China’s total stainless steel pipe imports came to 3,570.76 tonne down 7.19% MoM.
China’s main sources of stainless steel pipe imports in October this year were Japan and Sweden, which supplied 1,622.52 tonne and 336.41 tonne respectively. China also imported stainless steel pipes from South Korea, Taiwan, Germany and the US in the month in question.
